Season 1 is bringing some truly massive encounters to Black Ops 7’s Endgame mode.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has officially launched, complete with a cooperative campaign and a brand-new Endgame mode that acts as an open-world continuation of the story. Activision has now offered GameSpot a short preview of what’s coming in Season 1—and it looks like Endgame players are in for some giant challenges.
While full details are still under wraps, Activision shared a brief clip teasing a limited-time Endgame mode arriving in Season 1. The footage showed players battling an enormous robot across the Avalon map. According to Activision, the machine isn’t just an enemy—players will actually be able to enter it, suggesting you can hijack and pilot the giant mech yourself.
Another familiar foe is set to return as well. The zombie T-Rex boss from Black Ops 6’s Shattered Veil map will appear on Avalon as a new Endgame boss encounter. The strategy seems similar to its Zombies counterpart, with players launching themselves onto its back to deliver heavy melee damage.
Season 1’s preview was only a small peek, but it’s enough to hint at major action coming to Endgame soon. Players can access Endgame either by finishing the campaign or by joining a friend who has already unlocked it. Beyond Endgame, Season 1 also features a large multiplayer and Zombies content drop, including:
- Six new multiplayer maps
- Three new Zombies maps
